I have been receiving DLA higher rate mobility and lower rate care. I have been sent the forms for renewal. I noticed that the accompanying letter mentioned that I only need help with preparing a meal even though I had indicated on the previous forms that I need assistance with personal care such as dressing and bathing as well, which roughly amounts to about 40 minutes per day but this does not seem to be taken into consideration as this has not been mentioned. I still need help with this but can I appeal as I have never appealed regarding this omission before. My family also assist me to take part in leisure pursuits and visiting friends approx 4 days per week but this seems to be totally ignored. I would appreciate some kind of feedback.
