ESA Medical 0 Points

I just recieved my results from an ESA medical and got 0 points, I have fybromyalgia, I have some mental health issues. I have passed 6 previous medicals and was on income support, before the medical. I was one of the people on the pilot transition in aberdeenshire.
At the medical the doctor asked me nothing about mental health issues, eventhough I put plenty of detail on the form about how they affect me.
Also the decision makers score sheet said that only the evidence from the medical was taken into account, not from the form or doctors evidence that I sent in, is this normal.
I am very worried and it has made my condition very much worse since the decsion.
I want to appeal the decision but don't know where to start. Should I try to get a representitive to help?
Does anyone have any advice for me.

You could also get a copy of your medical notes from your GP as evidence of your physical and mental health.
You need to put a written request into your surgery for these, stating clearly what time span you would like and what sort of information, ie; letters to and from consultants etc.
Best wishes,
Rachel

As you wish to appeal the ESA adverse decision, in addition to possibly seeking representation, I would recommend you refer to the "Employment and Support Allowance appeals" guide which can be accessed HERE.
The form for making an appeal is Form GL24.
Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
