Appeal for ESA question was created by jem69
Once you receive a letter from DWP acknowledging your lodge for appeal it says to send any evidence to support the case to them so they can look at it again. If they can't revise the decision they then send it off to the Tribunal Service. However, it does not state how long you have to gather this evidence. Is there a set time limit?

Hi Jannyjam

There is no set time limit for submitting evidence to the DWP, but it must be done as soon as possible as you don't know exactly when your case will be in front of the decision maker.

If they decide not to revise the decision and pass the case over to appeal, you will then have one month from receiving the appeal papers from the DWP, to submit evidence to the appeal tribunal.

Good luck

Derek
