I would like to thank you for the information and help given here. After being put into the work group and losing ESA benefit in December, I went to Citizens Advice and filled in an appeal form. Yesterday I received a letter from them telling me they have changed their decision. It tells me nothing about my benefits, I am assuming I will get a further letter detailing those. Nor do I have any other information, ie, how many points or whatever I have now. I have never been given any of that information from them. It seems to me they did not even bother to look at the original examination report and just sent out a standard letter telling me I was put into the work group and losing my ESA and only when they got the appeal form they bothered to look at the original report. I could be wrong I suppose. However, I am just thankful that I have not got to go in front of a panel of people and perhaps even to tribunal. Once again, Many thanks. Lynne
Well done and glad to hear it went your way.I know what you mean about this site, without it I would have been a broken woman by now. Everyone on here has given the confidence to go on and appeal, I like many people on here did not have a clue about claiming benefits. It took a while to understand some of it and still I am a bit fuzzy on a lot of it.
