Hi everyone,
Just an update as I have had such a horror story with my esa claim that has now been running for a year. After many complaints, letters, phone calls etc yesterday I received a call from a manager at esa asking if he could visit me at home this morning. He was here about half an hour went through all the paperwork, had a chat and off he went. He has just rang me to say that I have been placed in the support group for another year and for the year gone, I will receive all the money owed to me within the next week. I cannot believe it !!!!!! I am so happy that I do not have to go to appeal etc etc and I know it's only a year but it's better than a year of waiting for appeals and all the stress related to it. So thank you for all your comments and assistance and of course to the mods and owners of this wonderful website as I don't think I would have got this far without your support.
Thank you
Sue

Well done Sue for persevering with your claim, and thanks for updating us. I'm sure that must be quite a relief.

Thank you, to say I am stunned would be such an understatement, after all the stress they finally decide I was right all along. I don't know how much my benefit will change by and I have no idea what they owe me back to April 2010. I wish I could run 'cos I would be running all over my flat now if I could lol.
Thanks again everyone, it just shows that without sites like this a lot of people would be a lot worse off. If I hadn't found this site I would have given up long ago. It seems like you are banging your head against a wall sometimes but it does pay in the end to fight if you have to.

Kind regards

Sue
