time limit for an appeal

as above is there a time limit for dwp to have an appeal hearing?
its nearly 11 wks since we heard last from them about an appeal we requested.

Unfortunately, it can take months to get an appeal hearing. It's not unusual, for example, to wait over six months for an ESA tribunal hearing. The actual waiting times will depend on various factors, including where in the country you are.

thanks this is a dla appeal, benefit has now stopped a couple of weeks ago so i hope they dont take too long as we are now suffering consequences of the stopped dla allowance.
