IMO stands for In My Opinion, it dates back to when most people had dial up connections to the Internet and they were trying to save bandwidth. There are a whole series of them, like LOL; Laugh Out Loud.

On a more serious note you should complete the form as requested, habing initiated the process, you must follow it through.

You dont have to follow it through there is a poster on here who posted the stats only last week of what happens when you ask them to look again. One of the coloums was for people who just left it after asking and did no paper work very small number its on this site somewhere, I wish I had known earlier only 3% get DLA stopped when asking for it to be looked at again I have everything crossed but should be ok the advice from this site and my docs letters should do the trick

This seems very odd in that I know of someone who told the DWP she didn't want DLA any more and it was stopped, so this does seem to be a Decision Maker with an enthusiasm for having forms filled in.

Did you keep a copy of your previous form? Maybe you could copy the care info across, or get someone to help you with it?

Unfortunately, when you ask the DWP to look again at one part of your award they can decide to look at it all again if they have grounds to do so.

If you don't return the form and continue to receive an award that you no longer think you are entitled to you may face having to pay it all back again at a later date or even accusations of fraud.

You could fill in the mobility part of the form and, in the care sections say that you are not asking for your care component to be looked at again. However, the DWP may well insist that they wish to look at the care award again.
