dla denied was created by greeneyes
i posted a comment on the forum on fri stating that i had been contacted by the dla at 20 2 9 in the morning after taking a lot of meds the previous night because of severe mental issues and to aid sleep i was hardly awake and could not collect my thoughts properly i was questioned about things i had already put on the form and stated that one of my issues was answering the telephone and opening the door to people. i asked could i not be contacted by fne in future and just by letter. This morning i have received a letter dated the day i had the fne call saying the dla had been completely denied on all awards and i would get nothing. ~i am diabetic, have had 2 hip repacements mental health issues where i neearly set the house on fire leaving an egg boiling in the pan, smoke alarm woke me up, i fell asleeep due to meds and they say i am not a danger to myself! i continually go to bed without locking doors, i take 20 tablets a day and my blood sugars. I have rang them about this decicision and they said it was the decision maker who called me and decided i was in a fit state to take the call!!! they said they based decision on what was on form. the answers i gave on fne when i didnt know what i was saying and the doctor who gave a report which was not enough! ~i have checked the form i sent in and i did not give my land line number for obvious reasons but they called me on that anyway and my mobile num was all jumbled up!! do you think i have grounds for appeal?

I agree with Pat you need help, reading the above post I can see why you might need help but if the forms like your post then you have not got your case across and need the experts to help.

With regards the DM calling you, the moment you did not slam the phone down you had lost the argument that in fact based on the above post you lost the argument the moment you answered the phone. the issue had not stopped you doing what you said you cant do... :)

That action alone could have raised doubt in the DM mind IMO
