I have no idea if in Work Related or Support as I was only informed by a telephone call. However, I have been promised a call back in the morning to advise on the payment they are making so I will ask then as if in right grouping I am entitled to cold weather payments as well as it is ESA income based.

I agree with Pete; in fact I would go further and say an ESA85 is almost irrelevant with regards to DLA. However, if the DWP are using an old ESA85 (as you mentioned in another thread) to argue their case, it is well worth looking at your latest medical report to see if their arguments still apply.
However, it's just occurred to me while typing this that the ESA award that you have just received might be based on the old (7 month) ESA report, in which case they will already have it.

The ESA85 is the ATOS medical report that the decision maker uses to decide your ESA claim.the ESA85 is the ATOS form??

Claimants in both, work-related and support group get cold weather payments. As Your award will be back-dated you should be entitled to CWPs.

On 17th October my condition was such that it had deteriorated since the ATOS medical in April 2010.
I claimed DLA after October when my condition was pretty grim. It has not improved since then and there is no positive reaction to certain drugs I am prescribed. So, hopefully, this ESA decision will help my DLA case a little, although I do realise there is a difference in each type of claim.

The ESA85 is no help at all as it scored me ZERO in all descriptors.
I have not had a new medical. The reconsideration was awarded based on GP and Carer's letters.
I have not heard anything from DLA as yet but I hope they ask for a medical in the hope that the truth about my condition be recorded this time as it certainly was not in April.

Hi Lisa
Ignore what I said about the ESA85. I mistakenly thought you had a more up-to-date report.
You mentioned in another thread that your DLA claim was refused based on your ESA85. The fact that the ESA decision has now been overturned should strengthen your case, as the ESA report is clearly wrong.
Hopefully you will get a more up-to-date medical.
