ESA appeal was granted was created by Tiggy
Well in October 1st i was allowed my appeal and won it and have been given extra 9 points putting me up to 15 points as i process things 1.5 times slower than most people due to my brain damage from my stroke - what happens now still waiting DWP to pay me the extra and pay back due but am sure it will happen eventually. I think i have to go to further meeetings but don't really understand this am in the support group i think. Any help would be appreciated

Is this for ESA? You'll have further medicals unless you fall into an exempt category when the time comes for your case to be reviewed. Cases get reviewed at different intervals, depending on the prognosis given by the Atos doctor.

People in the support group don't have to attend work focussed interviews.

Hi Tiggy

If you scored has been upgraded to 15 points you have probably been placed in the limited capacity for work group, as the support group test is not based on points.

From what you have said, it would appear that you have been placed in the ESA work-related activity group, as on appeal you have secured the fifteen points required for the WRAG.

If you had been placed in the support group of which the appeal tribunal should have informed you in the decision notice, this is not subject to the points based descriptors.

If you are indeed in the WRAG you will eventually have to undertake work-related activity and attend a series of work-focused interviews, if you have not done so already.
