DLA holding letter was created by Barkthedog
Does anyone know the significance of a DWP DLA application holding letter?
It was just a dear sir, we have not quite concluded blah blah. Therefore a decision will be made shortly when we have.
I have not been in contact with them other than the original application.
This is week 6 of the claim.

I got one of these letters too this week. I concluded they were trying to be nice?
Or in the event that i complained about them at a later date they could show they had kept me up to date with my claim ..

Reading between the lines, I think it means something like 'we have received your claim forms, but have massive backlogs so please bear with us while we get things sorted out'.
