What Do I Do? was created by suzanne
I had my ESA medical on the 28th June and I haven’t heard a word since should I be worried, do I get in touch or just leave it?

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

I received written details of the results of my WCA about two weeks after the medical took place.
I would check with your local DWP office as to what is going on, assuming a decision has been made, and it is possible that it is still under consideration, the there are only two outcomes; you passed in which case you are moved to the WRAG or Support Group or you failed in which case you are deemed fit for work.
The important point with regard to the latter is that if you wish to appeal there is a time limit, which I think is 4 week from the date of the determination letter. If you indeed find your self in this situation you should be able to argue that the non-receipt of the determination should allow the submission of a late appeal.
Hope this Helps.

Hi Suzanne,
I also had mine late June/early July, can't remember the date exactly. I have rang ESA and they said that they expect a decision approx Oct/Nov. I have given up worrying until the dreaded brown envelope arrives.
Hope it all goes well for you.
