Does anyone know how far you usually have to travel to the ATOS centers and if you have to pay for your own transport their or can you reclaim transport costs.
I had to travel to my nearest city for mine which was about 12 miles.
They do cover travel expenses, however i drove and the car park cost me £13 but they would only give me £6 for parking (plus some money for petrol) At first they were only going to give me £3 for parking until i argued a bit. I told them the car park and they had a list of its prices. They filled in a form after the medical and said did i want it paying in my bank.
It has annoyed me that i lost £6 in parking. I got there a bit early because i didnt know where it was and i normally tend to get lost and stressed out but they would only pay parking from when the appointment started.
