I am so sorry. :( I know how traumatic the appeal is from first hand experience. I believe (and if I am wrong I hope a moderator will tell me) You can apply for a 'Statement of Reasons' from the Tribunal Office which will explain why you were turned down and on what points. You should have been given a leaflet regarding this from the Tribunals Service together with their Decision Notice.

Hi Velvet

What a knockback for you, but dont give up. Did you follow the guides on this site? It could be that you were on a better day at your tribunal, or did you unknowingly make light of your disability? I am guilty of saying things are better than they are!!! Please dont give up they have to give their reasons for refusing you this, if you are not happy with that and they have overlooked anything take it further by appeal.

If you dont get anywhere then re apply and try to provide supporting evidence from your GP or consultant. I applied several times before i got anywhere, the last time i appealed and won and since my award has been increased. So its always worth persuing this. I will be thinking about you!!

hi velvet , so sorry you have lost you appeal ,i lost mine 12 aug on DLA 17 years indefinite for 7 years , I know they are wrong did you have an EMP visit and what was her report like , If you think its unfair or untrue fight for your award ,Appeal you only have 30 days from their decision to do this ,even if you are not going to go the whole hog at least you will see on what evidence or lack of it ,they came to that decision for your own peace of mind ,But do take advice from the group here and appeal ,

all the best i know where your at and i am appealing just waiting for Statement of REASONS ,GET YOUR FIGHTING SPIRIT BACK AND DONT LET THEM BEAT YOU INTO THE GROUND
