dla refusal was created by ouch
just had another rejection letter from dla(the 3rd) despite following to a t the advice on the forum. However have quickly sent for my appeal form but just wondered how or where i could perhaps get someone to represent me at a tribunial.CAB in my area alredy refused to assist me in filling in my forms as said they just had to put down word for word what i said and they had no magic words they could use. i am assuming that you have more chance of winning your appeal if you have representation. Any advice greatly appreciated. Also how long roughly do i have to prepare for an appeal.

its not magic words you need but the ability to give them all the information you have and the ability to back it up with drs reports and i think in your case you might need the gods on your side at a medical

dla is given for problems you have in managing to function in daily life and in getting about

you have not said whats wrong, so if you dont want to say some will find it hard to advice you but as a pointer to you know others with your problems claiming dla ? they might not all get the same rates but are there some getting something?

you mention not getting it even with help from the forum,, all the help in the world will not get you dla if the forms dont have the info on them or if at the end of the day all the info given still fails to convince Norcross

have you tried getting advice from a help group run by people with your problems ? they might be the best place to get help

the part of your post that worries me most is

"However have quickly sent for my appeal form "

sometimes better to slow down take it all in have a good think about how to go forward

Hi again Sorry didnt mean to sound like i was blaming the forum. In answer to your queries the problems i have are Osteo arthritis in my spine sacral area knees hands&feet also peripheral neuropathy in both hands and feet fibromyalgia and another connective tissue disease which is still under investigation.
Yes i do know quite a lot of other people with the same medical problems as me who receive dla and while i know its not what you have but how it affects you believe me when i say the peripheral neuropathy i have means every step i take is complete agony, never mind the rest of my probs.

the reason i quickly sent for my appeal forms are because my memory due to medication and fibromyalgia is not the most reliable thing so its a case of if its not done at the time chances are its forgotten.i am however unsure as to why you found this fact worrying any further advice would be appreciated

with regards the speed of your request for appeal its sometimes best to go through all paperwork with fine toothcomb and see if somethings been missed or put in such a way it could be the reason you have been turned down if you have memory problems keep a large note book with lots of notes

as for my comments on the gods, the reports back here after medicals and on other forums regards comments on how medicals are carried on and then whats wrote up by the docs the gods help seem to be needed B)
