Finally at long last my brother will be getting his DLA Medical on 9th July (his birthday). They took away his high mobility and middle carers in October 2009 saying he was no longer eligable after a bad doctors report - even though his conditions have got worse.
I am going to be there with him for the Medical but I walk with a stick etc - but I want to know what we should do and what I can do to help him on the day? I have downloaded the guidelines on here but wanted to ask if anyone had any advice. Should I say things to the doctor i.e. my brother can not always get his words out through pain and morphine he takes, plus he is forgettful and loses his cool very quickly though frustration of pain and medication.
