Didn't complain about every problem was created by mavisbrew
Hi every body i have just joined as i have what i think is a major problem.
I recently got told after i filled in my renewal that i was being drastically reduced in my DLA. When i got my doctor to fill in her part she just focused on the main problems and i didn't want to as i thought waste there time about my burns and scolds when cooking whic has caused this reduction. My doctor has written a letter explaining this and i have asked the DLA to look at my case again. Is any one aware of what is likely to happen should i be worrying so much??? :(

You should appeal immediately using form Form GL24.

As you have asked for a reconsideration the chances of the adverse decision being changed in your favour are relatively low. This does not mean it won't happen, but if you appeal your decision will be looked at automatically by a more senior decision maker in any event, to ascertain whether or not your file is to be referred to the Tribunal's Service.

You can always withdraw an appeal if you receive everything to which you are entitled in the meantime.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
