I have been away for rather a long time having had tumors in the bowel (sorry) removed.
One of the problems left after extensive surgery is insomnia and a G.P. who "doesn't believe" in sleeping tablets which means I often lie there seeing the sun come up and might get a couple of hours sleep.
I expect to start having to reapply for I.B. and D.L.A. and I wondered if anyone knew whether chronic insomnia would be taken seriously by the D.W.P.
Hi Peter, pain is the most common reason for not being able to sleep. Not being able to lie down comfortably and also worry. Sleeping tablets can conflict with medication. You should definately state it on your forms. All the best.
