Yes, it is.

There are two versions of ESA, there is Income Based ESA which is means tested and then there is Contribution Based ESA which is not means tested. Check out the guides in the Members Section for a fuller description of each version of ESA.

Just go to the B&W homepage then under the heading Employment and Support Allowance click on Members Only then click on 'Understanding Employment and Support Allowance'-Our 43 page introductory guide to ESA. Then on page 2 there you will find your answer plus a lot more.
