Migration to UC from ESA Support Group was created by sylvm
I am doing this on behalf of my daughter, as her appointee. A DWP person carried out a home visit last week to check both of our ID as my daughter doesn't have photo ID. This morning, there was a new message in the online area which set out details of the first payment which is going to be made and says there won't be any more until next month. They seem to be only sending the standard single person's allowance. There is no reference to my daughter being transferred from the support group and not being able to work or her rent. I had understood this should be an automatic transfer but this doesn't seem to be happening. What do I need to do?

Hi sylvm
It appears there has been a miscommunication between the Visiting Officer and the other UC staff ( Case Manager and Work Coach ). The Visiting Officer doesn't action the payments, just reports back.
I would send a UC Journal message asking where is the LCWRA element and Housing Costs. I would send this message twice. Firstly choose the option A Payment so the recipient is the Case Manager and secondly the Work Coach .
Let me know how you get on.

Thanks for your reply David. I had a notification today that they are paying the back housing costs which is good news. The LCWRA element is apparently with a 'special team' and the service centre are waiting to receive confirmation. At least, we now seem to be getting there!
