Pension due in February was created by Cinta
Hi, My pension is due to start in February when I turn 66. Am I right in assuming that I will loose all of the ESA amounts? Also, will I loose my severe disability premium and severe disability guarantee which I currently get.

I understand that if I still get PIP in February then this benefit remains?

With many thanks in advance
Kind regards

Hi Cinta,

If you are single then your ESA stops at State Pension age. But your PIP will carry on. However there may be other Benefits you can claim.

You could try using a Benefits calculator such as Entitledto.co.uk and input the date of your next birthday or your age as 66 to get the results.
