Support from another person and things taking longer to achieve

Hi there,

I'm just wondering for the purposes of my form, for instance I would benefit from the support of a person to encourage me to undertake exposure therapy in the moment (I get therapy but it's only once a week) but I do NOT actually have a person to support me in the moment.

So I get very little support due to living on my own. As an example due to OCD because of rituals involved a simple stir fry would take me around 1hr and a half. I know this isn't normal, if I had an expert in psychological support, there at the time they would be able to support me to not carry out compulsions but this is a very unlikely scenario, so where would I stand in terms of which descriptor I would use? Not just anybody would be able to help me, but I would benefit to have the support of a professional there at the time, exposure therapy is very difficult and I am very resistant to it.

Many thanks

S

Hi S Knows

You can tick any question that says you require support even if that person doesn't currently exist. Just put in your explanation that you don't have help even though you need it.
