How to stop benefits duecto a small inheritance, hoe do I word the letter

I have recently received a small inheritance which will keep me off Benefits for approx 2 years, I need to inform esa housing benefit and council tax but I want to give them the least amount of information that I have to

Dear Sandy44, there is a warning you should have. If you will have to claim again as you intimate, please consider keeping receipts for your spending of the inheritance. Otherwise you run a nasty risk that when you re-claim you will be asked what you have lived on up till then. Yes you will say, I inherited £xx, but they will say [they did to us years ago, it was awful] oh but you still have that money -even though you show them bank statements.
" Intentional deprivation of capital" is very hard to disprove, and 'Notional capital" means your benefit is severely docked.
So please, keep those receipts.

I am in same position, enough to last for a year, can i please add a further query to this forum question...
How is it possible to avoid giving a reason for stopping UC/esa etc
For instance, if you phone and they ask why you are stopping claim what do you say?
Or if you write wont that delay everything, and then you owe them money and its got complicated?
So you should phone and get your claim stopped straight away, which means being questioned?
It would be nice to be trusted, and to have privacy, but instead we are treated like criminals.
