Appointee proof was created by teresasue
Hi i am concerned about the upcoming migration for UC from income related ESA for my son who has mental learning difficulties. Many years ago when he was on DLA before it changed to ESA i was granted Official Appointee but i have no written proof of this and don't know how to go about proving this as i hope i can fill in the online form when it comes as his appointee as he wouldn't know how to do it. Anyone's advice be very helpful thanks]

Hi teresasue,
The best thing you can do is to phone ESA and ask them to check their IT system called CIS Searchlight as to whether you have been officially registered as the appointee. They will find that information under the Relationships tab
( I have used CIS in the past ).
