Can anybody tell me why my ESA to bc UC award has stopped my Carers Element ? I am in the Support Group myself but I am a carer to my daughter. I have been getting the Carers element of ESA for a long time.
I asked in my Journal WHY I wasn’t allowed this and they told me UC don’t make the decisions to call ESA, 2 hrs later they tell me (EsA) they can’t tell me it’s UC that can tell me and they will contact me Tom. Do these people actually know what they are doing Can anybody advise please ?
The rules for ESA and UC are different. It all depends on your circumstances, a single claimant in receipt of UC cannot claim both LCWRA and Care Element.
