Not necessarily - I find they're usually every 3 months giving you an update on the current status of your application.

What benefit for the assessment for? If ESA or UC (for a Work Capability Assessment) then you won't normally get one. If PIP you may get a text to inform you that the DWP have enough information to make a decision and sometimes also to say if you have been awarded PIP.Hello Do you always get a text message after a telephone assessment?
