When I complained to DWP about having a 2nd assessment, a case worker told me I could be in for a 10 year award. It never happened though, but the very thought of it made me happy for a short while. One can dream.

I once had a 3-9 month award. But once I got to the tribunal I got 3 years. Same happened with my last assessment. The DA gave me 2 years, DWP upped it to 3. I think that was probably to try & stop me going to the tribunal. Hopefully they will realize that we’re close to retirement & sort us out properly.
