Having asked this question a week or two back, i have the feeling off being fobbed off, a simple yes or no answer, even I/WE DO NOT KNOW is absolutely fine, but not an opinion ( not being rude), and since noticed others too more recently asked similar, also to be given a unanswered opinion.
I will try and answer your question but you are asking about matters that are not set in stone and could, in a very real way, depend on the result of the next election.
So, the Government has issued several white and green papers in regard to their vision of the benefit system over the next five years.
One of the proposals is to remove the WCA and tie Support Group/LCWRA status to PIP, the WRAG and LCW status would be removed.
It is essential to understand that these proposals are nothing more than this, they would require the modification of primary legislation and there is no time for this to happen before the next election. Hence my comment about whether they might happen or not.
Further comment would require opinions about what the Government's real intentions are short and long-term, so I will resist the temptation to post further.
