I really hope you can assist. My brother lost his partner 2010 and left 2 twin boys 4 years old. I have just been told by my friend that my brother could still apply for widowed parents allowance. When she died she was given payment because she died in service. My question is would this affect him if he applied, could he knocked back because his parents received in service money. This benefit widowed parents allowance is being scrapped by the government in Ferguson 2024 . I really appreciate the advice and help . I hope you can advise on this . Kind Regards
