Change of account was created by Myluckycharm
Can changing bank account stop your pip payments going in ? The reason I’m asking is the letter I received from pip was hand written with my name and address it also said if we pay you and your not entitled to the payment you will have to pay it back.
Maybe I’m overreacting , thanks again for all your hard work for loads of info.

Hi Sukie10,
As long as you update them with the details, as soon as you have them - I can't see why there would be any issues with this. I believe it is part of your obligation being in receipt of PIP to keep your details updated.
Regards, Chris.

I would also, just to be on the safe side, make sure you have copies of your digital bank statements saved or paper ones (of the bank account you're closing), should they ever be requested in the future by DWP.
