Hello I have a problem. I had a pip telephone assesment and requested pa4 form. Which awards me only basic pip rate. Because of some card problems I missed PIP call. I had no idea that they will be calling me after assesment. I then received a text that they made decision and to wait two weeks. Can someone help what that call was?

Hi Agis
Without a crystal ball, we have no idea what the call was.
Sometimes you may receive a call just to clarify about information they have about your condition.

With regard to the 'rumour', the DWP are stating on their letters now that you can apply for the report AFTER you have received the decision. My friend was about to pick the phone up and call to ask for her's when she read it on the paperwork they sent her when they arranged the assessment appointment. I told her that the statement was rubbish and she should apply for it anyway. However, having read that she then didn't feel comfortable and has therefore not bothered. I tried to tell her that the longer you have with an inkling of what they're decision might be, the more time you have to prepare cogent arguments pointing out their errors. I am sure the DWP are doing this to make claimants feel all the more reticent to challenge them!

Attn BACK OFFICE,
This is awful, please could B&W or some organisation challenge this illegal statement being made in print before it frightens any more innocent claimants?
Hoping so,
Denby
