Hello all I suffer from progressive muscular dystrophy plus scoliosis I was put into lcwra 3 years ago and last week had email from universal credit stating log onto your journal and click on commitments if I don’t click my money will stop so I went onto my journal and clicked it can any help me to why I would need to this after 3 years on lcwra thank you for any help also there’s nothing on my to do list

Hi diceman24, I believe this could be in relation to the government having DWP staff check every claim in relation to finding if any of them are fraudulent, as a lot was missed during Covid. I myself also had to update my commitments, and provide bank statements recently having been on UC since 2020. As difficult as it may be for you, if you're unsure, I would suggest sending a message to your workcoach for advice if you are able too.

Hi Gordon I had to finish working due to my progressive muscular dystrophy and scoliosis of the spine in March 2020 had paper based wca and put into lcwra group I have never had a work coach sent in fit notes for 3 months in 2020 how will I know if it’s a review of my lcwra if it is do I need to send in fit notes again thank you for any advice

Your Claimant Commitment is one of the things outside of the restrictions implied by your LCWRA status, you would have had to have agreed to one when you applied for UC and it should have been updated when you were placed in the LCWRA group.
Perhaps your Commitment has been updated or it may simply be that you have to acknowledge that you have read and agreed to it.
