Not sure why you have made this post confidential as there is nothing in the post that can identify you.

As far as I am aware there are no indefinite awards with PIP, there was with DLA and there was also life awards.

If your friend has received an 'ongoing' award and there was not a specific date on their letter you can expect it to be at the ten-year mark.

It has been stated that those with ongoing conditions will receive a 'light touch review' - however, no details have yet been published about what exactly that means.

This year will be 10 years from when ongoing was introduced and light touch, your friend is one of the first I have come across.
