Hello, my husband has received his ESA re assessment form, when it comes to the section about your disabilities etc. he is putting down facts about how life is impacted down to his disability etc. would putting down the fact that he looks after our son who has a disability and my husband receives carers allowance for this make any difference to him being assessed capable to work? i.e., if found capable to work things would have to be managed around looking after our son etc. Thank you
Your husband needs to follow the advice written in our guides, remember ESA is all about how his condition affects him from working, I would recommend that he follows the advice written in the guides, if he does not fit the criteria then he will not be awarded ESA: help-for-claimants/esa1
