Hi, I called the health assessment company regarding an extension to the date I've been given for submission of the UC50 form.
However it was rather unexpected as I was told:
a) To take as long as I wanted b) That the medical team would continue on anyway with assessing me. c) that there was no call log where my request could be logged.
What is the situation with tequesting an extenstion for the submission date. Is there an official process in contrast to what the agent stated. I was expecting to be given a date a couple of weeks later and for all matters to be properly logged.
My understanding for a UC50 application that there are no extensions, although I did read on the forum last week that a member had theirs extended, this is not the norm and I would not recommend it.
PIP is different and you can usually get an extension sometimes two extension with good cause.
