Hi,does this mean if you are over pension age (66) and you have a decline in one particular descriptor,(which would gain me a point and move me to enhanced daily) that only that descriptor will be reviewed or will it be a whole reassessment with the chance of potentially losing all? thanks.

Hi Mrs Doyle

I'm not sure what you're asking. Have you already got an ongoing award - so do you expect to receive the light touch review form?

As I understand it, even with a light touch review they will still look at the whole award and yes, there is always a risk that it could be downgraded.

Hi mrs doyle

If you read the latest B&W news letter it has an article on light touch review; www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/news/pip-ar2-l...ails-and-sample-copy

My understanding is that the simplified form will mean that in many cases (supposedly) where condition is unchanged, the DWP will waive through the claim for it to continue.
Does that mean they will calL up people who are due for review less than the 12 months in advance, which has bern the rule up to how?
Any guidance on this please?
Thanks.

Hi Augustus

It hasn't been announced how close to the ten-year or SPA it will be. I would expect them to continue the same pattern - up to 12 months in advance, but until people start receiving them we won't know.
