PIP 1043 form was created by Tj45
Hello.
I received my review form today asking about changes. So Since my EDS/Fibro/CFS diagnosis I have since been back to see the consultant who thinks I may have POTS the issue I have is that the waiting list to see cardiology is a year sadly with waiting lists quite long I have been waiting 7 months already. I have a letter outlining about the POTS and the cardiology and I have a letter from my GP surgery saying about cardiology. Im a little unsure what I should put on the form, sorry to be a little vague this is my first review with PiP and any advice would be grateful as I was only awarded PiP in Dec 2021. Many thanks Tj x

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Tj45
You have a letter confirming your cardio problems and POTS as the likely diagnosis - so just put that down on the form and send in a copy of the letter. Remember - it is not so much your diagnosis but how your condition impacts on your daily living and mobility. So wherever it is relevant to the PIP questions and criteria - include it along with your other conditions.

Hi how very strange after me only saying yesterday how long I have been waiting this very afternoon I receive a text asking
“Do you still want to stay on the waiting list”
Erm yes!! Is big brother listening BIS or what. Freaky coincidence, while Im sitting here writing down my prescription list for PIP and figuring out what to put down on this damn form. Mind blown right now haha. Hope everyone is having a relatively good(ish) day. Take care of each other xx

Hi Tj45
That is odd timing. I'm so glad you got that message. A friend of mine recently rang to see where he was on a waiting list - awaiting an operation - only to find he wasn't on the list after two years of waiting! It's good that you've got confirmation.

I received a call yesterday BIS and have an appointment next week!! A little late for the form but I have put it in the any other information that I have the appointment. So I will get some answers at last. My anxiety from now until then will be working over time as I am not good meeting people face to face and would you believe I have the hospital twice in the same week. Two days on the run which for me means my mental and physical health takes a beating
But after 7 months at least I will know what is happening.
Thank you again for always answering, it is very much appreciated. Tj.
