dear Gordon i wrote some time ago as I had to go for an assessment from indefinite DLA to PIP it was horrendous the person who said she was a nurse looked like a tramp with scruffy clothes and purple hair. The questions that were asked were degrading and hurtful and very personal the last straw came when she asked me to spell world backwards. It was at this point my husband decided enough was enough and told her we were leaving I did ask if she had read all my documented evidence that had been sent to the DLA she was very flustered and replied not all of it, we just shook our heads and left. However to my amazement two weeks later I received the dreaded brown envelope and to our utter amazement I was given high level support on all parts for 4 year then to be reassessed Thank You all for your support and help I will keep reading all your data ready for round 2 in 4 yrs time. That really is good news, well done.

I always say to members not to gauge the result by how the assessment went.
