My sister has just found out that she has received the enhanced rate of mobility. Thank you for this website.

Unfortunately shes not received any award for daily living so is considering an MR. Shes asked for a copy of the assessment report to see what exactly it says. Should she have also asked for a copy of the decision notice as per ESA?

Also, if she goes ahead with the MR will she be paid the mobility element whilst she is waiting for a new decision? She currently receives DLA.

I assume she has phoned the DWP and been told of the award?

She will receive a Decision Letter within the next 7-10 days.

No, she won't receive any Mobility payments if she asks for an MR of the PIP Decision unless she is in Northern Ireland where some payment may be available.

Thanks Gordon.

Yes she called them today and they told her over the phone. Letter to follow

Do you know how long an MR takes on average?
