wife successfully got full mobility and care on her claim. The guides were really useful especially ensuring explained and gave full detail. I added 7 additional pages. Was on DLA but lower rare of care. But after being in hospital I had to give up work to care for her so had to claim PIP so I could potentially claim carers allowance, which has also been confirmed.

we put n a complaint about the face to face assessment . Main reason my wife being deaf and was difficult to conduct but was not fault of wife. Was also trying to hurry her ! Not got anything against the assessor. Frankly I don't think she liked being in the position that she had been put in and having to go through script. Anyway it is the Government policies and way set up this process (as with other things) that pits people against each other. Anyway another assessor came, who seemed more experienced, and was more obliging and went more smoothly. Putting in formal complaint delayed the claim but on balance felt that it helped.

I guess that it is more a numbers game rather than a genuine assessment of claims. I bet they have their targets and we were perhaps lucky and not want too many formal complaints against them. It was a face to face by Capita by the way.
Anyway thanks for the guides.
