All thanks to your advice guides which I followed slavishly, I had my letter this mornings advising indefinite Enhanced DLA for both elements converted to Enhanced PiP for both elements for 5 years. This was received 6 weeks after face to face. I had read and heard of such negative experiences coupled with the fact that the Government is hell bent on reducing the Benefit bill to the detriment of a large number of deserving cases that I was beginning to doubt my case. My Capita interview was very sympathetically conducted and the time slot was expanded because of my need to justify the complexities of my disability. All in all so much better than anticipated. My membership over the years has been a really worthwhile investment because I feel you need to start preparing a good 12 months before the anticipated review date. Reading the experiences of other Members has been a reality check but I hope this post will give other Members reassurance of both your Guidance and the process.
So pleased that your use of the guides has helped you to success in your application for PIP.
I'm sure other members will take heart from your positive experience, and your advice on timely preparation is good and should help others when they are considering applying for the award.
Enjoy your 5 stress-free (so far as PIP is concerned, anyway) years.
