Thanks to the invaluable help of Benefit and Work I have been awarded lower level of PIP - Even though I was currently getting DLA which is due to finish next month I thought my PIP would be backdated to when I made my claim in February but according to the DWP letter they do not back date. Does anyone have experience of this?

I'm afraid there is no back dating of PIP awards where the claimant was receiving DLA.
