I had a horrible experience at my medical assessment on 5th March. Today, I received my DWP notification letter. I HAVE BEEN PLACED IN THE 'SUPPORT GROUP'. I also rang to find out when I would be re-assessed - I was told March 2017. I have a long struggle ahead with my health issues, but being placed in the Support Group has lifted a heavy load. I am very relieved and extremely thankful to the B&W website, which has literally been a life saver for me. THANKS AGAIN BENEFITS AND WORK!
Hi e808,
That is Great News !!!!
Well done for getting through all this !!
Thank you for your very kind words regarding B&W, they are appreciated !!
Just in case you wish to request the documentation used in coming to The SG decision, which may be useful when your reassessment comes around circa March 2017, you will find relevant information in : This Post.
Although there is no hurry to request this documentation, it would be better to do so in the near future, rather than waiting 2 years, when you may have more problems obtaining the docs.

Dear bro58,
Thank you for your advice about requesting the medical assessment documentation. It is very important to have knowledge of what was written in the report so that I'm prepared for the next assessment. (Even if it is two years away) It's still worrying.
I rang the ESA Department this morning (nervous and apprehensive) and was relieved at how easy it was and pleasantly surprised by the soft spoken and courteous manner in which the young man spoke to me. He emailed the request whilst I was on the telephone and informed me step by step what would happen next and when I would receive it.
Towards the end of the conversation, I told him that I was pleased with the professional and friendly manner he handled my request. He seemed genuinely taken aback, and said he was really happy about my comment and to 'just concentrate on getting better'....
Thanks bro58

Hi e808,
If you have any problems obtaining what you need as a result of your telephone request, you can make a written request/SAR as advised in my post that I provided the link for in my other post above.
