I am allowed standard rate daily living component, and from 0 on the mobility component to 12 so the enhanced rate and I am truly grateful, I have MS and there are days when walking in very very difficult.
I have been informed by the DWP that they have one month to appeal and are unable to tell me if they will appeal or not, hence my title the waiting game! Does anyone know or have any previous information. So nowI live in fear that DWP will appeal, and I will go through further stress and at a higher court.

Yes, DWP do have the right to seek leave to appeal to The UTT, but this is the exception rather than the rule !!
