I just want to thank B&W once again for the great help and downloads since my daughter turned 16 for DLA applications and now at 22yrs for PIP we lost higher mobility and middle care DLA we were awarded standard Daily Living. PIP which we appealed, turned down. recently attended First Tier Tribunal awarded Enhanced Daily Living and Enhanced Mobility although just awaiting DWP right to dispute judges decision! Does anyone have a knowledge of how many first tier decisions are disputed? Have passed on your details to families met at Tribunal centre just so many people out there are unaware of the wonderful work you all do Please carry on your wonderful work you have been a God send to my family Thanks Again M
That's great news maxmax3! Thanks for letting us know and for your kind words about B+W
I can't give you an actual figure but it is not common for the decisions to be contested - DWP would have to show an 'error in law' in order to do this (as would the claimant if they were to take it further). If all goes well, you should hear from DWP again in 6-8 weeks, although you might be able to speed this up by sending them a copy of the Tribunal decision.
