It's official!

I am in the ESA CB Support Group.

I have been awarded higher rate care and mobility for PIP.

So thanks to all who posted on the forum, mods and all the poor souls in the same situation as me. Thanks also to B&W for the guides.

Still waiting on war pension review, apparently it's with the docs and it may take 6-8 months, currently nearly 3 months along.

Now to tackle all the other pensions and stuff, brain and energy allowing.

As I very rarely leave the house, apart from accompanied doc stuff that can't be avoided (eyes) not sure why they have such silly barriers to getting your car tax issued. You have to go to a post office with everything like in the very old days.

It should be possible to renew your car tax online, there should be details on how to do this on the form.

First road tax requires you take all documents to the post office (PIP certificate, MOT, insurance, vehicle ownership etc), your car tax class has to be changed at a post office that deals with road tax.

Once you get the new reminder for road tax, which will be shown as 'disabled' then you can apply for road tax online.

All good fun. Why this has to be this way when all the details are online and all that is needed is provision to scan, photo the PIP certificate, or even send a copy etc.
