PIP outcome was created by mysti
Today (3 weeks & 1 day after my face to face assessment) I received the result of my PIP claim. I've been granted enhanced rate care & enhanced mobility for 4 years. I'm so grateful to all the guidance I found on this website.
Thank you.

Hi m,

That's great news, Enhanced for "both" !!!! :cheer:

Thanks for the positive comments ! :)

You should expect to receive your PIP review forms 12 months before the end date of your awards !!

I've just got one quick question. I think I should have received more points than I did. It seems my physical difficulties were taken into account but not my cognitive ones or the ones related to my Aspergers. Because these extra points wouldn't have any influence on the outcome (because I already have enough points for enhanced rate of both components) am I best to just ignore/forget about it? Thank you.

Hi m,

Yes, I would not pursue the matter as you have Enhanced awards, and the last thing that you want to do is instigate an MR of that decision.

When the time comes for your review, you can state all your limitations afresh as they are at that time.

If you haven't already got it, you could ring the PIP Helpline :

Telephone: 0345 850 3322
Textphone: 0345 601 6677
Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm

to request a copy of The PA4 PIP Medical Report compiled by the PIP Assessor.

You will then see whether or not The DWP PIP DM has agreed with all the PIP Assessors recommendations.

You can then file your PIP documents away safely in anticipation of not being bothered by PIP again for the next 3 years or so.

Thank you. I'd seen advice on here previously about asking for a copy of the report so I phoned up to request mine this afternoon.
