Positive ESA result. THANK YOU! was created by AHW7
Had my WCA a few weeks ago, which went quite well in some respects. I managed not to have a panic attack in the waiting room, and the nausea subsided about halfway through. The assessor was very nice about my abject failure to complete the WCA50 within the deadline, but as I'd brought it along with me he went through various relevant bits as we went. (Fortunately because I'd applied on mental health grounds, they called me for assessment anyway)
While I was relieved not to have totally gone to pieces in the assessment, I did wonder if I'd managed to come across as too well-adjusted, so when the brown envelope landed this morning I was convinced they'd assessed me as fit for work. But no! Not only have I qualified for ESA, but they've put me in the support group, which I wasn't expecting. Not that I'm complaining, mind
Thank you SO much for step by step guide, it was an absolute lifeline while I was wading through the ESA50 form, and I doubt I would have been put in the support group without it. I've got a friend who is considering applying for PIP and another who is due to be migrated from DLA, and I'll be recommending both to check out your guides for those too.
