ESA support group was created by Bev
Thank you for all your info I have been placed in the support group (unsure how long) after my very painful face to face assessment. I was in bed for 2 days after that day. I have just applied for pip and been told I may have to attend again for a medical at the same place with the same people. Has anyone else fine this? Medical was with a doctor not a HCProffessional. Congratulations on the award.

ESA awards are not for a specific period but they do use the prognosis from the assessment report to set when to re-assess you, you can give the DWP office that dealt with your claim a call to see what is set on the computer.

PIP has significantly different criteria from ESA in most areas, so it is usual for another assessment to be required, however, as Maximus carry out ESA tests and it will be either ATOS or Capita that carry out the PIP ones I would be surprised if the location will be the same, although it is not impossible.
