Hi All
I hope I'm doing the right thing by adding to this thread rather than starting a new one... I'm a bit of a dead loss with techy stuff!
Anyway, the reason I'm writing is to ask if the letter I received from the tribunal people will be enough evidence to send off to DVLA regarding car tax and to my local council with regard to HB., or do I have to wait for DWP notification. If so, will DWP send a letter fairly quickly, or will it be 4-6 weeks, when payments are sorted out?
Hope that rambling made sense!
Thank you. A x

I'm afraid you need to wait for an award letter from the DWP, this won't be for 4-6 weeks, in fact I would allow 6-8 weeks.

Hi All
So, I just rang the PIP helpline to ask what's happening with my claim now that the tribunal was a success. The very nice lady informed me that they had the copy of the tribunal findings, but that on top of the 28 days DWP have to consider this, it will then take 8-9 weeks until it's sorted out. I've only been awarded until August 2016!!
I can't believe it takes so long, yet any benefit problems ive had in the past that involve my money being stopped, they work very quickly to ensure that's done! Gggrrrr!
